Gina Ellen Brock (formerly Gina Hill) was born in Dallas, Texas on August 7. She grew up in Allen, Texas and is a 1985 graduate of Allen High School. Gina graduated from the University of North Texas in 1989 with a B.A. in Sociology and received her juris doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law in 1992. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas the same year.
Gina Builds Trust With Her Clients
Gina’s first job was as an Assistant Public Defender in Wichita County located in Wichita Falls, Texas. Her exclusive responsibility was to represent indigent persons accused of crimes in the county and district courts of Wichita County, as well as in the appellate courts. She then was hired as an Assistant District Attorney for Hays County which is located in San Marcos, Texas. There it was her duty to represent the State of Texas in prosecuting misdemeanor offenses. A felony position was then offered to her in the Bastrop County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in Bastrop, Texas. Her duties included the prosecution of felony and misdemeanor offenses, juvenile offenders and representing Child Protective Services in termination cases.
In 1998, Gina moved back to Denton to begin private practice. As a solo practitioner she exclusively represents persons accused of crimes and helps them navigate the complicated legal system. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Denton County Bar Association, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Denton County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Denton Benefit League. Gina spends countless hours volunteering at her daughter’s school and in the community.
